The Mountfield 1638H Twin Ride On Lawnmower V-Twin is NEW to the Mountfield range for 2021 Lawnmowers.

Powered by a twin cylinder Stiga ST 550 engine with hydrostatic transmission. The 1638H is a real pleasure to use with forward and reverse controlled through the use of a foot pedal.

The 1638H Twin features a 98cm (38″) twin blade cutter deck with anti-scalp wheels that provide an excellent finish. Light steering and a tight turning circle make it easy to manoeuvre around obstacles with minimum of effort. All Mountfield garden tractors cut wider than the wheel width, which means there is little trimming left to do after the lawns have been mown.

Grass clippings are blown into the large 240 litre rear mounted collector and a buzzer sounds to notify the driver when it is full and needs emptying – and that is easy to do without leaving the driver’s seat. Or, you can choose to mulch using the a mulching plug not included; mulching grass is a great feature and not only saves you time but provides a natural fertiliser to your lawn. Blades are engaged and disengaged at the flick of a switch through an electronic clutch

A deck wash facility means keeping the deck clean couldn’t be simpler; just attach a hose to the snap-on connector, turn on the water and engage the blades. Water blasts around beneath the deck washing it clean – job done!
